• Mechanical Key Override (in select models): For applications where a physical backup is desired, locks like the G100-CK cam lock with key override combine digital convenience with the reassurance of a traditional key.

Reliable Technology: ST01 & ST02 Smart Lock Mechanisms with 350,000-Cycle Lifespan

A highlight of our technical discussions centered on our two primary locking mechanisms. Visitors appreciated the transparency:

• ST01 Stylish Rear Panel: With over 800,000 units in the field since 2010 and a defect rate of less than 0.01%, this mechanism is the workhorse of our lineup. It’s designed for standard cabinets and offers a latch life of over 350,000 cycles, ensuring long-term durability for high-usage office cabinet locks.

• ST02 Mini Rear Panel: Specifically engineered for compact spaces like mailboxes, parcel lockers, and mobile phone charging cabinets. Its smaller footprint doesn’t compromise on reliability, making it perfect for compact smart locks.

Nothing beats a hands-on demo. Throughout the fair, we invited attendees to test the response time of our fingerprint drawer locks and experience the intuitive interface of our mobile apps.

The 1888M password cam lock and the 1880Z fingerprint cam lock also drew significant interest, particularly from visitors looking for compact, standalone locking solutions for smaller cabinets or display cases. The integration of a Type-C emergency power port across most models was repeatedly praised as a practical, future-proof feature.

We noted strong interest in a wider range of smart cam locks and locks specifically optimized for metal filing cabinets and locker applications. While our current lineup (like the G100-CK cam lock and the metal-door-compatible versions of our A Series) addresses some of these needs, the level of engagement suggests significant opportunities to expand our OEM smart lock solutions for metal furniture. We’re taking this feedback seriously and will be evaluating how best to serve customers with these requirements.

Considering Wi-Fi Connectivity and Backup Options

As IoT ecosystems become more central to facility management, several visitors inquired about smart cabinet locks with direct Wi-Fi connectivity for seamless integration. Additionally, a number of procurement managers emphasized that for certain applications, having a mechanical key override remains an important consideration for end-user peace of mind.

These are interesting market signals that align with broader industry trends.
